Digital Equity Opportunities
The Town of Leverett has received Digital Equity Grant funds from the Massachusetts Broadband Institute to assist residents who do not have reliable access to the internet or reliable cell phone coverage. The grant can provide you with an expert to diagnose gaps and propose solutions to address them, purchase the equipment needed, and provide training on the new equipment. Please reach out to Margie McGinnis at townadministrator@leverett.ma.us or 413-548-9699 if you would like to be part of this program.
Leverett also has received Digital Equity Grant Funds to help residents to use their devices and the internet more safely and more effectively, which will broaden digital equity access. These trainings will be taking place at town hall over the next year and can be individualized to a resident’s situation in their home. The trainings can address how to participate in remote meetings to encourage remote participation in municipal activities, security support (such as scam prevention and password protection), and other customized needs. If you are interested in these training options, please reach out to Margie McGinnis at townadministrator@leverett.ma.us or 413-548-9699.
