The Leverett Town Code chapter 3-1 states that seven members of a Planning Board shall be elected for five-year overlapping terms.
One member of the Planning Board also serves on the Community Preservation Committee.
You are welcome to attend monthly Planning Board meetings. These public meetings are typically scheduled on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM. You will find the Zoom link in the Town Calendar event for each meeting.

August 2024 update about the Comprehensive Plan:
The state grant that funded comprehensive planning activities ended June 30, 2024. The Planning Board has received the final plan from Innes Associates, and is reviewing it before releasing it to the public. The Planning Board is also discussing a procedure prior to our vote to adopt the plan.
The Planning Board can make corrections before adopting it, and we can make amendments after adopting it. So, it will never be too late to request corrections, or to propose amendments.
