    • - 2. Village Neighbors - meet with rep in January (JR)

      COA will invite Village Neighbors, member Barbara Bodzin to our January meeting.

    • - 3. PVTA/FRTA

      General Discussion...
      Still pending action with PVTA and FRTA. PVTA is available to Leverett, but we need way to get the information to the citizens. COA will continue to partner with Village Neighbors.

    • - 1. Update on Navigator Grant progress with Nora Fissette.

      General Discussion...
      Nora Finnerty - UMass Department of Public Health Center for Program Evaluation - she is over seeing the $25,000 Grant.
      1. Resource Guide List - Gathering as many resources for the public as possible i.e Life Path, Triad etc. a Data Base with user friendly tools.
      2. Compile a Network of Outreach 'helpers' who are familiar with the town and well connected people.
      3. What are the particular needs of the community?
      4. Funding - Grants for sustainable Service Navigator Position.
      5. Creating a job description.

    • - 2. Gary Gruber from Planning Committee will update us at 11:00am.

      General Discussion...
      Gary's (from Town of Leverett Comprehensive 10 year plan) associate Nicole Vejek was present. Gary did not attend the meeting. COA will reschedule with him.

    • - 3. Foot Clinic: vote needed to add a second nurse beginning in January: (1) cost per hour goes up from $90 to $100; (2) minimum is a 4 hour shift; (3) need 48 hrs notice to cancel. Our Foot Clinic runs for 6 hours with eleven 30 min. slots. (Nurse has 20 min. lunch) At this time sliding scale donation is $25-45. We may want to up that to $35-55. FYI: only needed to use $35 from the State Grant for November Foot Clinic!

      MOTION, moved by Judi Fonsh, seconded by Linda Hoer: Motion to ask Foot Care by Nurses Director Kate Clayton-Jones for a second foot care nurse for a 4 hour shift.

    • - 4. COA sponsored Tech Day at Leverett Library with GCC Tech students April 2024??
