The Conservation Commission recommended Seth Heminway be appointed to the commission. Seth was present to introduce himself and answer questions. He is retired from the EPA, was on the Tree Com. in his previous community and is a life-long outdoors person.MOTION, moved by Tom Hankinson, seconded by Melissa Colbert: Motion: To appoint Seth Heminway to the Conservation Commission. Vote: 3-0 in favor.

Projects update-Margie
General Discussion...
Margie reported that she will be working on a report of the expenditure of the $584,000 in ARAPA funds due at the end of the week. She also is working on an MVP grant extension. It looks like Leverett will submit 4 One Stop for Growth Grants. Applications for the microgrid project; master plan phase 2; Dudleyville Rd. and Affordable Housing project. -
Weed removal on pond
General Discussion...
The board discussed how much money to spend on weed removal at Leverett Pond. It has not been done in a few years so they opted to spend $600 for 3 hours instead of the usual $400 for 2 hours. (Tom recused himself from the vote).MOTION, moved by Tom Hankinson, seconded by Melissa Colbert: Motion: To spend $600 from Select Board expenses towards weed removal (harvesting) at Leverett Pond. Vote: 2-0 in favor.
