    • Meeting Opened / Attendance Taken (see above).

    • - Call meeting to order and review minutes of the previous meeting.

    • - Announcements, Information and log incoming mail.

    • - 1. Received from Susan Mareneck check#5725, dated 12/7/2021 for $150.00 for Soil Evaluation & Perc Test (9/15/2021) 15 Dickinson Rd., owner Susan Mareneck.

    • - 2. Received from Jacob Belanger check#154, dated 12/14/2021 for $150.00 for Perc Test/Soil Evaluation @ Hemenway Rd., Map 1, Parcel 99. (New Construction)

    • - 3. Received from William J. Sieruta, PE a letter dated 12/29/2021 and "as built" plans. The letter stated that the repair of septic system at 430 Long Plain Rd., owner Scott Nickerson is in compliance with 310 CMR 15.0 and all local Board of Health regulations. Health Agent, Stephen Ball asked the board of health to hold the COC, the Squirt test is not complete as this time.

    • - Citizens Business: Permits and general questions for the board.

    • - 1. Received from Petersham Sanitary Srv., LLC, check#4115, dated 12/21/2021 for $200.00 for Septage Haulers Permit (2022). Issued Permit #22-05. Signed by Clerk.

    • - 2. Received from River Drive Excavating, Inc., check#34893, dated 12/22/2021 for $300.00. ($100.00 Installers Permit) ($200.00 Haulers Permit) Issued Installer permit #22-06 Issued Haulers permit #22-07 Signed by Clerk.

    • PFAS Update - 4. Health Agent, Stephen Ball reported to the Board that he has been in touch with DEP and reported that DEP told him that PFAS water tests reported results of over 90 parts per trillion, those homes will be provided treatment system by DEP. Under those those number, the Board of Health is responsible (?) There were also concerns about PFAS in septic systems and leaching and disposal of water filters.

      General Discussion...
      On 1/4/2022 DEP will begin testing the first 10 of 30 wells selected.

      Fair reported that on 1/4/2022 at 4PM the Franklin County REPC (Regional Emergency Planning Committee) will have ZOOM presentation regarding PFAS. Fair will send board members the ZOOM link.

      PFAS test kits will be sent to the town hall for affected homeowners. The homeowners should return sample to the town hall. The samples will be sent to a certified lab by courier. Results will be sent to homeowners. Homeowners can voluntarily send results to the Board of Health.

    • - 5. Nick Venti, Mary Ryan and Mike Fair met at the town hall last week to discuss how get another user trained for the MAVEN System.

    • COVID update - 6. It was reported that since 12/7/2021 there have been 42 positive cases.

    • - Adjourn and schedule next meeting.
