  1. Meeting Preliminaries

    • - Call meeting to order and review minutes of the previous meeting.

    • - Announcements, Information and log incoming mail.

    • - 1. Received from Steven Herbert check # 90, dated 1/7/2021 for $150.00 for perc test @ 246 Long Plain Road.

    • - 2. Received DSCP Application for repair at 246 Long Plain Rd., owner Marjorie and Steven Herbert. Designed by Stoddard Engineering, dated 2/25/2021 signed by owner Steven Herbert. Received from Christopher Stoddard of Stoddard Engineering check # 442, dated 2/25/2021 for $300.00 for DSCP Application #R2021-04-05A.

    • - 3. Received from New England Testing Lab,, Inc., report of analytical results dated 1/4/2021 for Hampshire/Franklin Daycare. 1. Kitchen Sink - absent of coliform 2. Point of entry tap - absent of coliform 3. Raw tap well #1 - absent of coliform

    • - Citizens Business: Permits and general questions for the board.

    • - 1. The Board received a request from the COOP to sell refreshments at Town Meeting (5/1/2021) Leverett Health Agent, Stephen Ball agreed to this request as long as they follow the same protocols currently in place at the Coop.

    • - 2. It was brought to the attention of the Board that a 12/8/2020 order that prevents any town meeting taking place during a State of Emergency is still in effect. Any town meeting planned needs to have protocols approved by the Board of Health.

      MOTION, moved by Michael Fair, seconded by Peter Sylvan: The Board of Health rescinds the order of 12/8/2020 that Town Meeting be prohibited during a State of Emergency.

      Pass: Aye: John Hillman, Michael Fair, Peter Sylvan. Not Present: Sarah Todd.

      Fair will contact Town Clerk, Lisa Stratford with this decision.

    • - 3. The Board received an email from the Library Director sating that they plan a re-opening of the library the first week in May with outdoor activities planned.

    • - 4. As of this meeting Leverett Elementary School is completely open. No COVID cases in the school.

    • - 5. The Board will ask the Fire Chief to put a message on the electronic board regarding precaution's as tick season approaches.

    • - 6. There was an update on Diana Bella's progress regarding committee outreach and payment. Hillman spoke to Town Administrator Margie McGinnis, Margie said that see spoke to Phoebe @ FRCOG and she said that payments to Diana with be covered under the Cares Act. Also, Diana is focusing on town resident 80 years old and above.

    • - 7. Also, as of this meeting all teachers and staff at LES have received at least 1 vaccination.

    • - Adjourn and schedule next meeting.
